Nokia is the world’s biggest mobile phone manufacturers but due to iPhones and Android smartphones it was left behind. After getting sold to Microsoft in 2014, Nokia has introduced many Windows and Android smartphones. Today, Nokia has introduced very first beta of Android 9 Pie available for its new smartphone Nokia 6.1 plus.
Nokia 6.1 Plus smartphone also named as Nokia X6 was launched in July 2018. This phone is slim, very attractive and luxurious because of its curved design. The phone is covered with an aluminium frame design protected in Corning Gorilla Glass 3 to make it quite durable. It has 5.8 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080pixels by 2280pixels offers more interactive experience. High resolution screen allows the texts, images and videos to look sharper and clearer.

Introduced‘Bothie’ style of Picture
Nokia 6.1 Plus has introduced new way to use the phone cameras. A new ‘Bothie’ mode allows using the cameras in a very unique style called as Dual-Sight video capability. The Dual-Sight technology allows mobile screen to split the images and display both the camera’s views at one time. Other features like masks, stickers and Al filters can also be used with it for more creative look.
Before Nokia 6.1 Plus, the company has launched Nokia 6 which was quite boring and didn’t have any impressive reviews, that’s why Nokia renamed X6 to 6.1 Plus. In addition to budget price, it has 4 + 64 GB space and includes Android One support, and certainly, the notch that marks out 2018’s smartphones. As it is a part of the Android One program, it ensures the phone get the fastest updates and runs very smooth without any interruption. Due to its price and interesting features it has given a big competition to Redmi Note 5 Pro and Honor 9N. No doubt it is better. It is also very easy to handle due to its light weight. Moreover, its round edges help to grip it comfortably.
Nokia 6.1 Plus has Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 Chip that is very common in smartphones today. Its display is quite bright and sharp. But its performance is not very nice in regard to apps and games. You see the lag when you start playing heavier games. Aside Gaming, audio quality is great with the headphones (the 3.5mm headphone jack present on the top). On the other hand, the speaker is not too loud. The volume buttons are present above the power button on the right. Voice quality is also fine while using VoLTE and standard 4G networks, but the ear piece has the same issue as in Honor 9N.
The smaller earpiece makes it hard to take calls. Even a slight movement causes misalignment between speakers and earpiece. And this makes it impossible to hear the person on the other side of the call. However, the battery life is good. It lasts for a complete day with the use. And get 100% full battery in about 80 to 90 minutes.
